Note: Before beginning the setup procedure, confirm that you have:
- Dependable wi-fi connectivity
- Your wifi password and username.
- A long enough Ethernet wire to link the router and a wifi extension.
Once you’re ready, take the directions specified below:
- Connect the wifi extender to a power outlet.
- Attach the Ethernet connection from your router to the extender, and then wait until the light turns solid green.
- Next, link the WiFi to the SSID of the WiFi Extender.
- Open a browser from the computer or other device connected to the router’s network.
- A window for logging in will appear. Then, use the username and password to enter the account.
- The dashboard or home page will appear after you log in.
- Choose Wireless AP under Advanced->Advanced Setup.
- Now, select AP mode.
Note: Choose wisely because specific models may utilize alternative menu titles, such as Bridge Mode/AP/Router.
- The options to choose this AP’s IP address settings display. The default address of the router is preferred.
- Select “Apply.”
